I started in a small salon with 3 stylists after Betty (the owner of "Nature's Way" salon) closed her doors after many years of business. Betty is still with me now, styling hair. Five years later I expanded to our present location with 4 styling, 2 manicure stations, 2 pedicure chairs plus a room for massage/facials. We strive to make clients feel special, look beautiful and feel passion for all we do. Combined, we have almost 200 years of experience in the Salon. We pass on our knowledge of professional products to make your style work for you. Come and enjoy being a part of our Family Salon!

I was born in Thermopolis, Wyoming and moved to Boulder, CO to finish high school because my sister said I was having too much fun in Wyoming. I graduated from Boulder and received a scholarship to the American Beauty College in Denver and worked for the owner for six years. Then I had my sons and moved to Elizabeth in 1976. At this point I thought I was going to have a quiet life, but then the fun began. My first hairstyling shop was in my home and the second, in 1978 was in Kiowa followed by one in Elbert. In 1986 I opened in my home and consolidated all the shops into one location. I had this salon for fifteen years and then I let Linda McFarland have all the fun. She opened Sizzor Magic and it has been great. I love our community and of course, after 52 years, I love all my customers. It's a wonderful shop with great stylists.

I have been a hair stylist since 1987. I enjoy working with people and making sure they look absolutely amazing before they leave my chair. I focus on making the client happy and ensuring all their needs are met. My services include, haircuts, beard trims, colors, facial waxing, perms and pedicures.

I offer haircuts for men, women and children. I also do hair coloring by Redkin Color Gel's and Fusion. In addition, I offer Redkin Chromatics which is the latest in color technology. Other services include permanent waves, feather extensions updo's and shampoo sets or blow dry styles.

Wendy Hayes

I'm Wendy Hayes, Hair Designer and Barber. I've been working at Sizzor Magic for 5 years now. I specialize in Haircuts, Color Highlights and permanents for men and women. I also have a Hot Lather Machine for a nice smooth finish for neck shaves. We all enjoy how we formulate color together to consistently expand our skills. I'm a licensed barber and have continued education for the latest in highlighting, color and haircuts with Paul Mitchell, Baco and Redkin.

My name is Yoon Kim and I'm an experienced Nail Technician. I've been working at Sizzor Magic for 6 years and I'm a former Nail Salon Owner. I previously worked in New York for 10 years before coming to Colorado. In total, I have 25 years’ experience as a Nail Tech. I specialize in Silk, Shellac/Gel decorative nail art. I work very hard and always strive to keep a clean and hygienic space for each and every client I work with.
